Relaxing by the Fire!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! Paul, Lydia and their girls, along with Nan and Da came to the house for our Thanksgiving Feast! We had way too much food, but loved it all! After the celebration, it was nice to enjoy some Hot Chocolate in front of the fire.....

Turkey Strike!!

On Reagan's last day of school prior to the Thanksgiving holidays, the 1st Grade Classes had a Turkey Strike! They all got to dress as turkeys and strike through the school hallways! Reagan's sign said, "Save the Turkeys, Eat more Cranberry Sauce!" It is so much fun to see the kids grow and get to enjoy school! Thanks to Nan for all of her hard work on Reagan's outfit! Of course, Hudson had to be in a picture before we left the house that day as well! His silly smile was his turkey costume!

Fall School Pictures!

The kids are growing up way too fast! They each had Fall school pictures and this year, Hudson was able to dress like a Texas Ranger! His school brings in a professional photographer to do pictures every Fall and Spring. This year, they brought the clothes with them. Reagan's school pictures are also a lot better than they used to be when I was in school! It is absolutely amazing to me that we have a 1st grader, and a child in Pre-K!

Fall Soccer!!

We completed Fall Soccer about two weeks ago. The kids love playing, and both have gotten much better this year. Reagan's team, the Lady Cheetahs, went undefeated this year, and she scored several goals! Hudson's team, the Diamondbacks, ended the season with a winning record, and he also scored several goals nearly every game! We are now starting indoor soccer with Hudson during the winter, and Reagan will be playing basketball for the first time....

Airplane Ride!

One of the great parts of our trip to visit Warren was on the plane ride to North Carolina. While going through security, a pilot went through the screening right before us. We started talking with him, and found out that he was going to be the our plane's Captain! The kids really thought this was cool, and he invited us to look into the cockpit at the end of the trip. Not only did he let us see into the cockpit, he let the kids take a seat! He just told them, "Just don't touch any of the red buttons!" We have been lucky enough to have traveled quite a bit this year, and it is nice to still have fun and learn some things while doing it!
