Fenway Park!

John has always wanted to visit Fenway Park in Boston, so for his birthday this year, I got him Red Sox tickets! Of course, I got to go too! Fenway Park was built in 1912, and has a lot of history. They even have original seats in the park that date back to the 1930s. We were able to go on a tour the morning before the game, and really enjoyed it! It was interesting to learn about the history, and see all of the different parts of the park. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't very good. It rained and was cold for late May, but we still had a lot of fun!

Hudson's Swim Show Off!

We are blessed that Hudson has swimming as part of his curriculum at his pre-school. He had his "swim show-off" about a week ago. He has done a great job and is swimming pretty well. He was so proud of himself for jumping in to the deep end at the end of the program! We plan on putting both the kids in swim lessons this summer, so hopefully, he will get even better!

Hudson's Last Soccer Game of the Season!

Hudson had his last Soccer game of the Spring Season last weekend. He is playing with a slightly older group of kids, but has done an awesome job! He loves to score goals, and has great ball control with his feet....he definitely didn't get that from me! Looking at these action shots, it looks like his tongue is also helping with ball control! (Several of the pictures show his tongue hanging out of his mouth!) He scored goals every game, usually a lot of goals.....Last weekend, he scored 7 which gave the Stingers a victory! He had a great time with Soccer, but hopefully things will calm down a bit since the season is over!

Bumblebees!

Reagan also had her first T-ball game last weekend. She is actually participating in Modified T-Ball, where the coach pitches the first 3-5 balls, followed by hitting off the Tee if they weren't able to get a hit from a pitch. Reagan has done extremely well, especially since this is her first year to play! She has had a hit every time from the coach, and is doing a great job fielding the ball! John is also helping with her team, and she loves that she can get some input from Daddy while on base! Her team is made up of only girls, but the remainder of the teams are co-ed or primarily boys. Last weekend, they played the Pirates which are comprised of all boys and one girl, and the Bumblebees did great! Now, when the kids get home from school, they love to get their bats and gloves and go into the backyard to play ball!

Diamondbacks!

T-Ball has begun! Hudson played in his first T-ball game this past Saturday! He is playing with 4 and 5 year olds, so as you can imagine, it is a blast to watch. All but a few on his team are 4, so most have never played before....again, a blast to watch. John is helping out on the field with his team, which is fun for both of them! Hudson did great with hitting and fielding the ball. Our schedule has been crazy these last two weeks with T-Ball starting, and soccer season not over. We had practice for someone nearly every day these last two weeks, and four games on Saturday! We were all pooped by the end of the day! Luckily, things will begin to slow down once soccer is over!
