Reagan's Winter Dance Demonstration

Reagan has been doing a dance class at school and before the holidays, her class had a winter dance demonstration. This consisted of the parents being able to watch a dance class and the girls then performed a short dance at the end of the class. Reagan loves to dance, and loves her teacher! I am always very impressed with teachers that can direct about 10 four year olds to do something that resembles dancing in an organized manner! In the spring, they will have an official recital which I can't wait to see!

Reagan's School Party

I'm finally getting these pictures up....Reagan had a fun party at school prior to the holidays. This year, they tried to make it a little more healthy so the kids got to make Reindeer pancakes with the trimmings. I was actually able to go this year and Reagan was super excited about that. She had a great time and loves school, especially when they have parties!

Christmas Presents!

We had a lot of fun opening presents on Christmas day. The kids enjoyed all of their gifts and loved playing with them. They also loved trying to play with the other's toys. I don't remember how many times I heard the word "mine" coming out of both of their mouths! They had a great day and now we just have to find room for all of the stuff!

Santa makes a stop at the Hope house!

Merry Christmas everyone! Reagan was very excited to see that Santa did make a stop at our house last night. Even though, both John and I threatened on several occasions to call him....he did indeed make a stop! Reagan was especially excited on Christmas Eve night and went right to sleep, but then wasn't sure this morning what to think! Hudson, of course, was along for the ride, but does not quite understand Santa yet. Santa made sure that the gifts were all out in an orderly manner but that took all of about two minutes for destruction to hit! Reagan really wanted a Rapunzel doll and acquired a few other accessories as well. Hudson got a great train set that has about a million pieces! I know that it took Santa quite some time to put it together, but no time at all for a little boy to tear it apart!

Christmas Eve at Nan and Da's House

We got to enjoy Christmas Eve at Nan and Da's house this year! We had a great dinner and then the kids got to open a few presents. Hudson thought that his truck was the best! He has been riding in it, pushing it and putting things in it ever since he opened it!

Christmas Cookies!

One tradition that I always did as a kid was make Christmas cut out cookies. We have done this for the last several years, but this year was especially great as the kids both got to help! We had some interesting shaped cookies and the decorations were even more interesting, but Santa must have loved them. Reagan left out some of the cookies and milk for Santa and they were gone the next morning. Hudson loves them and as you can tell in some of the pictures, he has more on him during the decorating process than is on the cookies! I think that he had at least four cookies today! Maybe that will put some weight on the boy....

Cartwheel Demonstration

Okay...so Reagan loves doing cartwheels for Daddy, and Hudson thinks he can do anything Reagan can do! I'm not sure if Hudson's attempt is a cartwheel, or showing Daddy how he can "Stop, drop and roll!" Either way, we thought the cartwheel was great and Hudson's attempt was near perfection!

Visit with Santa!!

The yearly visit with Santa went great! Reagan was able to tell Santa what she wanted for Christmas and Hudson didn't look too upset sitting on his lap! Santa made a visit to Bass Pro nearby and we went last weekend to see him. Of course, we had to ride the elevator, look at the fish, and look at all of the other stuff in the store before we could leave! We are all very excited for Santa to come and visit us while we sleep on Christmas Eve!

Reagan's Christmas Program

Reagan's school always puts on a great Christmas program and this year was no different! All of the kids are asked to wear Christmas attire and put on a great singing presentation for parents and grandparents. Reagan and her class did an awesome job this year starting with "The Little Drummer Boy" and walking in drumming on drums made in class. They also had several songs and all of them included motions and dancing movements!
