Vacation in California!!

We decided to go to sunny California this summer for vacation! We love the West Coast and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! From baseball to beaches, we had a great vacation!

End of Year Awards!

This last week of school has been a whirlwind! The kids had field day, and then awards with their end of school party on Thursday. I cannot believe that we will have a Fourth grader and Second grader next year! Both the kids had a great school year, but are super ready to enjoy the summer! We are so proud of all the achievements and awards that they accomplished throughout the year!

Rangers Fun!

This Memorial Day weekend, we were finally able to make it to a Rangers game! We had tickets in April, but were rained out, so we were all super excited to go! Both the kids love going, and the Rangers came away with a win! Can't wait to catch the next game!

Tournament Champions!!

If you haven't noticed, our house is full of baseball right now! The Jacks came away as champions of a tournament played in Burleson in May! We had not been champions of a tournament until now, and I think the boys really liked it! It was a hard won victory of several games to get to the championship game, and they did a great job clinching the championship! GO JACKS!!

League Champions!

Hudson's baseball team was honored as the League Champions at the recent end of season picnic. They came away from league play with only one loss, and did an awesome job throughout the season. This is likely the last time his team will play league play, as they are transitioning into a tournament team. The boys were all super excited to get their trophy and recognition!

It is so hard to believe that First and Third Grades are nearing the end! The kids have both had great years at school, and continue to grow and change so quickly! They both love their teachers, and are ready for summer!

Teeth!!

This past Wednesday was an exciting day for the kids with their teeth! Reagan went in to the Orthodontist and had her impression for her lower retainer, and they noticed that one of her teeth was extremely loose. She gets her braces off in two weeks, and they were concerned that they would not be able to make a good impression with the loose tooth. So, they did a quick pull of her loose tooth! It is the first picture above....what is that crazy root? I am not sure she would have been about to get it out! That same day, Hudson pulled his top right tooth as well. The tooth fairy had to make just one stop, but give away more money that night!

Tournament Runner Up!

Hudson's team played in the DFW NIT tournament in Mansfield this past weekend at an awesome baseball park. They were 1-1 after pool play, but then on Sunday won the first two games, and were placed in the Championship game! This was super exciting for everyone, since they have not played in many tournaments yet. We lost the championship game, but came away as the runner-up team for the tournament! It was a ring event, so the boys all got awesome silver rings. Now, I think they are ready to play in their next tournament to try and get back to the championship!

Easter

The kids could not wait to see what the Easter Bunny left them outside on Easter Sunday! They always get a great Easter basket filled with goodies and then love to hunt eggs every year! They enjoyed hunting eggs over and over all day Sunday! Now, we just have to get rid of all the candy!

Dying Easter Eggs

We had to complete our annual tradition of dying Easter Eggs before Easter Sunday! The kids look forward to this every year, and love making a mess with all the colors! We had some interesting egg decorations this year.....
