Teeth!!

This past Wednesday was an exciting day for the kids with their teeth! Reagan went in to the Orthodontist and had her impression for her lower retainer, and they noticed that one of her teeth was extremely loose. She gets her braces off in two weeks, and they were concerned that they would not be able to make a good impression with the loose tooth. So, they did a quick pull of her loose tooth! It is the first picture above....what is that crazy root? I am not sure she would have been about to get it out! That same day, Hudson pulled his top right tooth as well. The tooth fairy had to make just one stop, but give away more money that night!

Tournament Runner Up!

Hudson's team played in the DFW NIT tournament in Mansfield this past weekend at an awesome baseball park. They were 1-1 after pool play, but then on Sunday won the first two games, and were placed in the Championship game! This was super exciting for everyone, since they have not played in many tournaments yet. We lost the championship game, but came away as the runner-up team for the tournament! It was a ring event, so the boys all got awesome silver rings. Now, I think they are ready to play in their next tournament to try and get back to the championship!

Easter

The kids could not wait to see what the Easter Bunny left them outside on Easter Sunday! They always get a great Easter basket filled with goodies and then love to hunt eggs every year! They enjoyed hunting eggs over and over all day Sunday! Now, we just have to get rid of all the candy!

Dying Easter Eggs

We had to complete our annual tradition of dying Easter Eggs before Easter Sunday! The kids look forward to this every year, and love making a mess with all the colors! We had some interesting egg decorations this year.....

Hudson's Music Program

Hudson had his annual Music Program last week at the school. They did a "Bugz" presentation that was super cute! These kids are growing way too fast!

Spring Baseball has started! Go Jacks!

Spring Baseball has started! Hudson's team has continued to do great in league play, so we are now playing some tournaments as well. He is our team's lead-off hitter and loves playing catcher! The entire team has come such a long way over the last two years. Go Jacks!

Finally!!!......Hudson lost a tooth!

Hudson finally lost his first tooth last week! By this age, Reagan had lost at least six teeth, but Hudson's have not even been a little loose until recently. He has two more that are also loose, so I am sure that he will soon have very few teeth!

Purple Thunder and Ninjas!

We just wrapped up a season of basketball and both kids learned a lot this season! Both were on the younger teams in their divisions, but they both had some success and wins during the season. This was the first time for Hudson to play, and this was the first year that the refs really called penalties for Reagan's age group. They both had a blast and we enjoyed watching them grow in their skills!

Hudson's Birthday Party!!

Hudson had a great birthday party at Urban Air Trampoline Park! He invited several of his friends and had a blast! It may have been really cold outside, but all of these kids were drenched in sweat by the time the party ended! We are all so blessed to have such great friends and family!

Opening Presents at Home!

John actually worked on Hudson's birthday, so we had several days to celebrate his birthday! We opened presents and he was super excited to get a BB gun this year! I guess we will have to see how many BB's get stuck in our fence. He is very safety conscious and does a great job with it. He can't wait to take it to Nan and Da's house where he will have more run to shoot!
