Reagan's Adventures at the Tournament
Obviously, Reagan was a little bored at Hudson's baseball tournament.....At some point, she got my phone, and I think I had over 300 selfies of her! I guess she kept herself entertained, but I have a lot of photos to delete! Here are just a few.....

Baseball Tournament
Hudson was supposed to have his first fall baseball tournament in the middle of October, but due to all the rain we have recently been having, it was postponed until the first weekend in November. We ended up having to drive to Athens for the tournament, instead of five miles down the road, but still had a great time! It was a 7U/8U tournament, and all of our boys are under 7, but we played well against the older competition! We came away with two wins and two losses, and had a great time! I am sure more tournaments are ahead in the Spring!

Halloween!
Halloween is always one of the kid's favorite times of the year! They both love to dress up, and of course, both love candy! Hudson decided he was going to be a firefighter, and Reagan initially was going to be Cinderella. Well, Reagan then changed her mind, and instead of trying to find a new costume last minute, she decided she would be a "werewolf princess!" That meant that Halloween morning, I was sewing some "fur" and accessories for her! We had a blast trick-or-treating in our neighborhood and then went to a friend's house for a Halloween party. We are still trying to get rid of all the candy!

Fall Festival!
Every year, our church has an awesome fall festival that we try to go to. Unfortunately, this year, it was raining the entire time, so the majority of activities were inside. We were not able to ride any carnival rides due to the weather, but still enjoyed several things indoors, especially face painting!

Worthless Captain!
How worthless are our dogs??? Well, Captain is quite lazy....he now responds to the name, "Fat Boy!" We love these dogs so much and can't believe that they are nearly a year old! They both cuddle extremely well!

Fall Baseball!
Hudson is also playing ball this fall! He is still on the Lumberjacks team that has now been together for the past year. They will start tournament play later this month, and he is super excited! His favorite position to play is catcher....last game, he caught a foul tipped ball, tagged a boy out at home, and ran another boy back to third! He is loving it!

Fall Softball
Reagan is playing softball again this fall and loving it! The team that she played on in the Spring is still together and playing strong! They did have to change leagues, but we are undefeated so far! We will have to move up in the Spring to 10 U, kid pitch, but are enjoying one more season in coach pitch! Go Smash!

Texas Rangers ALDS!!
We had the opportunity to go to Game 4 of the ALDS series between the Texas Rangers and the Toronto Blue Jays. Unfortunately, the Rangers were not able to win the series and will play Toronto one more time to determine the winner. We had a lot of fun, and it was so exciting to go to a Rangers playoff game. The kids both love baseball and were some of the loudest fans in the stands! GO RANGERS!!

Reagan's Skating Party!
Reagan decided she wanted a roller skating party for her birthday this year! That way, she was able to wear her new roller skates and show off her new moves! Several of the moms, including myself, also got out in the rink and skated with the kids! It was a lot of fun, and of course, Reagan got lots of new things! She truly believes she is the Roller Derby Queen!

Congratulations Captain Hope!
We are so proud of John....he had his promotional ceremony in early September for his promotion to Captain. The kids and I got to help put his new brass on, and so did Captain Erwin. Captain Erwin was his first captain in the Irving Fire Department, and has learned so much from him. Congratulations Daddy!
