Reagan's Skating Party!

Reagan decided she wanted a roller skating party for her birthday this year! That way, she was able to wear her new roller skates and show off her new moves! Several of the moms, including myself, also got out in the rink and skated with the kids! It was a lot of fun, and of course, Reagan got lots of new things! She truly believes she is the Roller Derby Queen!

Congratulations Captain Hope!

We are so proud of John....he had his promotional ceremony in early September for his promotion to Captain. The kids and I got to help put his new brass on, and so did Captain Erwin. Captain Erwin was his first captain in the Irving Fire Department, and has learned so much from him. Congratulations Daddy!

Happy Birthday Sweet Reagan!!

Reagan turned 9 on August 31st! It is just so amazing what a wonderful, sweet, intelligent, independent young lady that she is becoming! She loves life to the fullest, and loves being with family, friends and being busy! She wanted roller skates this year for her birthday, and had plenty of birthday money and gift cards to enjoy shopping with! I still can't believe that it has been 9 years since she was a preemie newborn in the NICU! It is just amazing how time flies!

First Day of School!!

It's a new school year, and these kids were ready to go this morning!! They each had their clothes picked out last night and backpacks ready! It is hard to believe that Reagan is starting Third Grade, and Hudson is starting First Grade! They both found out their teachers last Friday and were super excited to get Mrs. Talley and Mrs. Almon! I am sure they will both be exhausted by this evening!!

Fireworks at Magic Kingdom!

On our final night at Disney World, we went back to Magic Kingdom to watch the magical fireworks display and electrical parade. When we first arrived, it was raining some, but it then quit and no one got too wet! The fireworks display was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get any pictures of the fireworks, since all of the adults had kids on their shoulders! Disney World is such a magical place, and all the kids (including myself and the rest of the adults) had a great time! I have already been asked on several occasions, "Mommy, when can we go back to Disney World?" I don't see us going in the near future....but who knows!!

Chick-Fil-A Orlando!

On our last morning of Disney World, we ate breakfast at a nearby Chick-Fil-A, and got to meet the Chick-Fil-A Cow! It was fun to meet all of the Disney characters as well as Chick-Fil-A characters on our trip!!

Magic Kingdom!

Magic Kingdom is the iconic theme park at Disney World and is so large, we weren't able to ride all of the rides! We went to Magic Kingdom on two days and still didn't get to see or do everything! Mine Train, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Splash Mountain were all great rides for us! There were also lots of other small rides that we were able to do including Buzz Lightyear, Dumbo and the Tea Cups! So much fun!!!!
