Gymnastics!!

Reagan has been doing gymnastics consistently now for the last year and she is now on a team at her gym. They will start competition in the fall, and she is loving it! It is a lot of hard work, but she is thrilled to do it! They work the girls extremely hard, but she has gotten so much stronger and more confident in herself! She just learned to do a round-off with two back handsprings by herself last week!

Spring School Pictures

I can't believe this boy will be going to Kindergarten in the fall! This is his spring picture from school. It's only a few months before he will be in "big school" with Reagan!

Bluebonnet Pics!

Every year, we have to take pictures in the Bluebonnets! Of course, I waited too long this year, and we didn't have the best Bluebonnets left! I still love the pictures though!

Spring Fun!

Spring is a great time to start getting outside and having fun as a family! Our favorite pastime these past few weeks, has been baseball! The kids are both getting much better and we love playing with them in the backyard. It's even better when they come inside to help with dishes after dinner!!

We love the Rangers!

We may have started a new tradition....On the afternoon of Easter, we all went to a Texas Rangers game! Both the kids had a great time, and LOVED eating all of the ballpark food! Although the Rangers didn't win, it was a great time to be together as a family! At the end of the game, John, Reagan and Hudson got to run the bases on the field! We can't wait to go to our next game!

Easter Egg Baskets and Hunt!

Easter Sunday morning is always a favorite for the kids. The Easter Bunny left great baskets and several eggs to be found in the backyard! If you can't tell by their faces, both Reagan and Hudson were super excited!!

Annual Easter Egg Dyeing!

We went over to Nan and Da's house the weekend of Easter to do the annual dyeing of the Easter Eggs! The kids always have so much fun, and it is a great tradition that we will hopefully continue for years to come!

More California Fun!

Here are some more pictures from our trip to California....San Francisco, the sea lions at Pier 39, the Golden Gate Bridge, the famous fire hydrant that helped put out massive fires in San Francisco in the early 1900s after a terrible earthquake, and Alcatraz! It was a great trip, and I am sure that we will go back someday! Maybe next time, we will let the kids go with us!

California!

John and I had the opportunity to go to California for a few days earlier this month! Nan and Da were kind enough to keep the kids, so that we could have a short vacation! We had never been to northern California, and decided it would be a great trip to make. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous, and we had fun exploring the Redwood Forest, mountains, coastline, Pebble Beach, and the beautiful cities of Monterey and Carmel. We had a trusty Ford Fiesta as a rental car to guide our way!

Reagan's First Grade Class!

Reagan has had a wonderful 1st grade year! She has grown so much and it is hard to believe the school year is almost over! She has a great class with lots of fun friends, and a wonderful teacher!
