My Army Guy!

I was working on cleaning out Hudson's closet last weekend, when I found this Army outfit! Hudson loves to pretend play that he is a soldier, and loves watching National Geographic movies about the military! He had not been able to fit into this outfit until now! We will see how frequently I have to wash this for him!

Bowling!

Last weekend, we had an early soccer game and an early basketball game, so the afternoon was actually free of activities! We decided to take the kids bowling, and they had a blast! Bumpers would automatically come up during their turns, and they both beat me on the first game! It was a lot of fun, and we can't wait to go back soon!

Purple Thunder Basketball!

Reagan has her last basketball game of the season this weekend. She has had a great time playing, and the team has come a long way during the season. They had their party last weekend, where all of the girls got medals and, of course, ice cream! Go Purple Thunder!

Lego Fire City!

Hudson's gift from Santa was Lego Fire City, and he and John finally got the opportunity to put it together about a week ago! It took some time, but the end product was great! It even came with a kitten in a tree to rescue! Hopefully, John will not have to help Hudson rebuild this anytime soon!

Snow Day!

Reagan got to have a snow day about two weeks ago and loved every minute of it! Our "light dusting" of snow that was predicted, turned into over an inch! Unfortunately, Hudson was sick with a stomach virus, (that he then shared with Reagan and I) so he didn't have much of a chance to play in the snow. We will see if Texas Winter Weather is over or not....

Hudson's Party!!

Hudson had his birthday party this past weekend at McDonald's! He wanted a "pirate party" so we had plenty of "loot" for the kids to take home, including eye patches, treasure chests and pirate hats! Everyone also got a Happy Meal and lots of Pirate cake! It was a great party full of fun for everyone! Hudson came home with treasure consisting of lots of toys to play with! He is already planning next year's party!

Uncle Warren Visits!

Uncle Warren got to come and visit this last week! He brought all of us Christmas presents, and the kids couldn't wait to open the presents! Hudson got a Lego Helicopter set that Uncle Warren then had to help put together! And, we can't forget all of the sword fights throughout the week!

School Cupcakes!

On Friday, we were able to take Cupcakes to Hudson's school and celebrate his birthday there. The class sang him "Happy Birthday" and he was beaming from ear to ear! Of course, the Spiderman cupcakes were a hit, and there was red and blue icing everywhere! I'm sure the parents all enjoyed the sugar rush too!

Happy Birthday Hudson Reid!!

Hudson turned FIVE on Saturday! It is just so hard to imagine that it has been five years since he was born! He has grown so much over the last year and is getting ready for "Big School" this upcoming August! He is a joy in our lives, and I can't imagine life without him! We love you Hudson!

Christmas Day!

Christmas Day was a wonderful morning filled with great surprises from Santa and from family! Everyone had a great time and we were all treated very well from one another! It was great having Paul, Lydia, their kids, as well as Barry and Sheilena with us on Christmas morning! We all had a great time opening presents followed by food and more food! What a wonderful day!
