Reagan's Birthday Party!
Reagan had her birthday party this last weekend. She really wanted it at the pool, and although I thought the water was too cold to enjoy, the kids didn't seem to mind at all! It was a crazy day with a soccer game, followed by the party, but turned out well. Reagan was able to invite her classmates, her soccer team, and other friends. We had a great time, and I know Reagan had a blast! Happy Birthday!

Hudson's First Soccer Game!
Hudson had his first soccer game last week. As you can imagine, watching three and four year olds play soccer is great! Hudson did a great job and nearly scored several goals! He was not scared to get out there and go after the ball! I think he has watched Reagan play enough times that he understands the game a little. Several of the kids were cute and simply stood on the field, or hid behind their parents. It will be fun to watch again this week!

Reagan's First Fall Soccer Game!
Reagan had her first soccer game on Saturday. She is playing again through Lake Pointe Sports, and is still on the Lady Cheetahs! The team is young, but doing a great job! At one point, she came up to us on the sidelines and said, "They are big...some of them are 8 years old." (Talking about the opposing team!) We talked with her, and she was very timid in the first half, but got with it the second half! This is the first year that the girls will be playing with a goalie, so it is making it very interesting! Go Lady Cheetahs!

He will be playing for the YMCA this year, and is very excited about his team, The Wolverines. We will have his first game this week, so stay tuned!

Having Fun at the Erwin House!
We got to spend some time with some of our favorite people on Labor Day! Captain Erwin and Mrs. Rita invited us over for some great food and fun in the pool! The kids have become fish in the water.....you really have to watch them to appreciate it! They love swimming and love being in the pool! Thanks for such a wonderful evening!

Where have the years gone?
Just Born!
1 year old
2 years old
3 years old
4 years old
5 years old
6 years old
With Reagan's birthday this past week, it always makes me think of when she was "little." I know that one of these days she will be a teenager and then an adult, but even now, she has grown so much! It seems like just yesterday that we were bringing her home for the first time. She decided to enter this world early, at only 5 pounds, 0 ounces and 17 1/2 inches long. She has come a long way! One of my favorite pictures is the 1 year old picture above. It is on our refrigerator and has seen some wear and tear, but I still love it. Being a parent is probably the hardest thing in this world, and although there are days when I am ready to pull my hair out, I can't imagine not being a Mother. God has blessed us with two wonderful and healthy children! It's still amazing to me to watch them grow, and I love to look at pictures that document that growth. Happy Birthday Reagan....We love you!

Happy Birthday Sweet Reagan!
Reagan turned 6 years old on Friday!!! She had a great day at school. Evidently, her class sang "Happy Birthday," and Daddy brought her lunch and ate in the cafeteria with her! That evening, she wanted to eat at Maggiano's, followed by a quick trip to the Disney Store! What a wonderful day! Happy Birthday sweet girl!

First Day of School!
Both Reagan and Hudson had their first official day of school on Monday, August 27th. Hudson got to move up to the next class, and Reagan got to start "big school" at Hays Elementary. She is officially a Kindergartner! John, Hudson and I were all able to go to school with her that morning and drop her off. The morning started out with her getting up super early (I think she was very excited), so she and John snoozed for a while before they had to get ready! We met some friends that have kids going to Kinder as well, and all went in for her first day! She was happy that we were there, however, I don't think she was worried about staying there by herself! I think she was also ready for us to leave so that she could start her day! It is an exciting new time for all of us, and a new chapter in our lives!
