Happy Birthday Sweet Reagan!

Reagan turned 6 years old on Friday!!! She had a great day at school. Evidently, her class sang "Happy Birthday," and Daddy brought her lunch and ate in the cafeteria with her! That evening, she wanted to eat at Maggiano's, followed by a quick trip to the Disney Store! What a wonderful day! Happy Birthday sweet girl!

First Day of School!

Both Reagan and Hudson had their first official day of school on Monday, August 27th. Hudson got to move up to the next class, and Reagan got to start "big school" at Hays Elementary. She is officially a Kindergartner! John, Hudson and I were all able to go to school with her that morning and drop her off. The morning started out with her getting up super early (I think she was very excited), so she and John snoozed for a while before they had to get ready! We met some friends that have kids going to Kinder as well, and all went in for her first day! She was happy that we were there, however, I don't think she was worried about staying there by herself! I think she was also ready for us to leave so that she could start her day! It is an exciting new time for all of us, and a new chapter in our lives!

First Rangers Game!

On Saturday, we decided to take the kids to their first Rangers baseball game! It was a little cooler (only about 90 degrees) than it has been recently, and we actually had the time to do it! The Rangers played a great game, and the kids got to see several home runs hit! The best part for them, was the Kids Zone that is near Centerfield. It is an area that kids can play and have some fun! They both went home with ball caps and baseballs, and are ready to go to a game again soon!

Meet the Teacher!

We went to Hays Elementary last Friday to find out who Reagan's teacher was going to be. We were excited to find out that she is going to have Mrs. Baker! We got to meet with her, and Reagan was able to sit at her desk Friday. We are super excited to start next week!

Hair Cut for School!

We are getting ready for big school! I can't believe that Reagan will start Kindergarten in about a week! She is super excited, and so are we! We have gone school shopping, and this past weekend was the time for a hair cut! We went to a kid's salon here in Rockwall that she loves. She got to sit in a pink Barbie Jeep to have her hair cut, followed by a quick manicure! Very pampered if you ask me! More to come on Back to school!!

Two Teeth for Reagan!

Reagan came home on Friday having lost her second tooth! I knew that it was very loose, but she still hasn't lost a tooth at home yet! The tooth fairy did come, and brought $2. She was super excited and we went to the dollar store the next day for her to pick something out with her money! She was able to pay for it herself, and thought she was big stuff! Now, we have the two top big front teeth loose....maybe she will need her "two front teeth" for Christmas! Hudson also had to take a picture like Reagan. Monkey see....Monkey do!!

Cousins, Cousins!

Uncle Paul, Aunt Lydia, Kourtney, Ryleigh, Rachel, and Reese came to visit about a week ago! We got to spend some fun times in the pool and then cooked out some hamburgers and hot dogs! Reagan and Hudson loved having them, and we really enjoyed having some "babysitters." The girls kept our kids busy!! We can't wait to visit with them again!

Reagan lost her first tooth!!

We got another surprise after returning from vacation on Tuesday. Reagan came home from school having lost her first tooth! She first noticed several loose teeth about a month ago and has been working non-stop trying to get them to come out! Evidently, it worked! She came home super excited! She was ready to show off her new smile (as you can tell with the pictures), and ready for the tooth fairy to make an appearance. After talking to some of her friends at school, she was expecting $20 from the tooth fairy.....(I think I was happy with a quarter!). After a long discussion, her expectations were lowered dramatically. She did still come out with $5 since it was her first tooth, but the tooth fairy does not plan on this amount for the remaining teeth!

Pirate Cruise

Another activity we enjoyed while in PCB was the Pirate Cruise! We initially had planned on going earlier in the week, but after being on the ship, it began to rain. So, we changed our plans and went later in the week. The crew and captain of the ship are amazing. They have activities the entire time, including water gun fights, sword battles, face painting, and even found a treasure chest that was loaded with treasure! We were lucky to also see several dolphins around our boat and surrounding boats! It was awesome! I'm not sure who enjoyed it the most...the kids or the adults!
