Christmas Cookies!!!!!

We made Christmas cookies today and had so much fun! The kids have really come a long way in helping out with these. Reagan and Hudson both cut nearly all of the cookies out, and then decorated them! We were very messy by the end, but had a lot of fun! Thanks Nan for helping!

Long Day!

We headed home after Santa Land, and both the kids were out quickly after grabbing a bite to eat. Reagan was given a sleep mask from Connie that she wore all the way home while sleeping. She also wore it on Sunday and took a great afternoon nap with it on. Thanks Connie!!!

Santa Land!

After visiting with everyone in Grand Saline, we headed closer to Tyler where they have a wonderful, magical Christmas light show called, "Santa Land." The kids absolutely loved this. Reagan sat on Daddy's lap and helped him drive, while Hudson and I hung out in the passenger seat watching all the wonderful lights. It is really an amazing site. This may have turned into a new Hope Christmas time tradition!

Visiting Grand Saline!

On Saturday, we loaded up and went to Grand Saline for a visit. This is where John grew up and we visited with some very influential people in his life. Patsy, Granny Avis and Connie. The kids loved going and brought things home from both houses.....they were truly excited! We loved the visit and can't wait to visit again soon!!

Santa Messages!

Reagan and Hudson, once again, got video messages from Santa this year. They both liked watching them and now the countdown is on.....Reagan knows exactly how many days until Christmas! Reagan was told to work on being nice to her brother, and Hudson was told by Santa to try to make it to the toilet on time!

We had some family pictures done this year near our home at Harry Myers Park here in Rockwall. Michelle, our photographer, did a great job! It was quite windy, but warm so at least no one was freezing! Reagan, of course, loves taking pictures, but Hudson is still not quite so sure. Here are a few of my favorites!
