Reagan has been doing gymnastics for over a year now and has progressed well. She loves her teacher and is doing great! This week, they did a rotation on the bars and she was able to do some forward flips on her own! She does enjoy the time there and I am glad for that. We will see how she continues to progress....

Hudson's Ball Cap
Hudson got his first official Ranger's Baseball Cap over the weekend. Once it was on, we had a difficult time getting it off! He wanted to wear it inside, outside, and even at lunch! He doesn't quite understand appropriate etiquette yet! We got to enjoy some actual warmer weather and went to the park during the weekend, and, of course, the ball cap was on! He looks like such a big boy with it on!

Happy Valentine's Day!
We had a great Valentine's Day! Both of the kids got to celebrate with their friends at school/daycare and brought lots of goodies home! They got to open their cards and goodies from us once they got home. The cards were the best hit...Reagan's princess card sang, "Every Girl can be a Princess," and Hudson's sang, "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse."

Cookie Monsters!
It looks like all we have been able to do for the last several days is cook and eat! I think I need to go back to work! I dug in the pantry the other day and found some chocolate chips, so the kids helped me make chocolate chip cookies. I think they both ate more cookie dough than anything else, but did have a great time with it! Hopefully, we can get outside soon. Maybe we will be lucky enough to have a little snow for the kids to play in!
Silly Face Pancakes!
So, this week has been quite interesting....we have been at the house with no school, no work and no daycare for the majority of the week! It has been extremely cold outside and because of that, we have had to find things to do inside! We have been home since Tuesday and it looks like we won't get back to regular schedule until next week. It always sounds good to stay at home, but when you can't get outside for long, it makes it difficult. We have tried to do some things each day to keep everyone happy! Silly face pancakes always work! Good thing we had some blueberries and cherries to help us decorate! Needless to say, the kids did not each much that day for lunch!

Warm Winter Day!
Since the weather was still so beautiful on Sunday, we headed to the park! We have a great local park that has a castle style playground that the kids love. Hudson loves sliding and keeps up with whatever Reagan does. They even have a fireman's pole that they both slid down multiple times! Reagan tried out the monkey bars and for the first time, was able to go on three bars on her own! Her second attempt was caught on video but only one bar was accomplished!

Dallas Zoo!
We had wonderful weather this past weekend, and decided to take advantage of it, especially since the forecast for the week is now calling for possible ice and snow! We had not been to the zoo in quite some time, so headed there for the day on Saturday. Nan and Da came along and we all had a great time. The animals must have been enjoying the weather as well since they all seemed to be very social and out! We got to feed the giraffes, watch the elephants getting fed, and then went for a pony ride! The day concluded with a carousel ride, that Hudson did not want to get off of, and stuffed animals to take home (Thanks Da and Nan!)...Hudson decided on an elephant and Reagan got a pink giraffe. Both are in bed tonight with the stuffed animals by their side!
