Destin FL trip

We decided to take a quick, long weekend trip to Florida over the Memorial Day weekend. Initially, the kid's had bad weather days built into the school calendar, but then we got crazy weather in March that ate up the days! So, on the Friday before Memorial Day, we hopped on a plane and landed in beautiful, sunny Florida! We had a great time in the Destin area, with lots of fun in the sun, fun on the beach and fun at the local waterpark!

Field Day

The kid's had their Annual Field Day a few weeks ago and had a great time! We left early to go on a trip, but they still enjoyed time outside with friends, teachers and parents! It is hard to believe that the end of school is so close!

Frisco Rough Riders!

We enjoyed a Frisco Rough Riders game this month and had a great time! Now that the kids are both playing baseball/softball, it's much more fun since they understand the game! We are ready to go back soon!

Kids acting crazy

We recently went shopping (which we don't do frequently with everyone!), and the kids had a blast! They both wanted to try clothes on, and Hudson could not understand why we wouldn't buy him a suit!!

Hudson's Kinder Program

Hudson had his Spring Kinder Program, called "Swamped" recently. He and the rest of the Kinder class sang and danced on stage for lots of people! The programs from school always amaze me!

It is so hard to believe that the end of school is so near. It has been an awesome school year, with Hudson having a wonderful Kinder year and Reagan having a great 2nd grade year. Both the kids have learned so much! I just can't believe that they are growing up so fast!

Easter Egg Hunt

The yearly Easter Egg Hunt is always super fun! The Easter Bunny brought new baskets with goodies and then the hunt was on! This year, Snickers and Captain tried to help....at one point, Snickers found a plastic egg and was so proud! Of course, Reagan took it away so she could get the candy inside! We had plenty of sugar to last the day!!

Easter Egg Dying!

One of our Easter Holiday traditions, is dying Easter eggs! The kids love doing this and then can't wait for the Easter Bunny to return to hide them! I think we got more dye on us this year than on the eggs, but still had a blast doing it!

Basesball Season

It's baseball season, and due to the weather, we have had to wait a little longer to start! We are now in the swing of things. Hudson is playing for the Jacks this season, and loving it! Reagan is playing softball with the Smash and learning so much! It is always so much fun to go and watch them play!

Braces!

Reagan got top braces on last week! Unfortunately, she has lost too many of her "baby" teeth too quickly, and her teeth are starting to shift without room for further permanent teeth to come in....long story, short....that means braces! She will likely have to do another round of braces as a teenager, but right now, she thinks she's pretty cool! She has done amazingly well with them, with only minimal complaining! She even took a few selfies of herself!
