Hanging out with Marvin!

We had the opportunity to hang out with Marvin for the last week! Reagan had fun with him...even though she dressed him up like a baby girl! Marvin also got to play with puzzles, dress up in Daddy's fire helmet, and even listen to Reagan's heart beat with the stethoscope! He also helped Reagan make smores one night! It has been nice to have Marvin around, but now he gets to spend a week with a different child from Reagan's class!

Reagan's Poster

Reagan's classroom has a class mascot, Marvin the monkey. Each week, Marvin chooses a child to go home with for the following week. During that week, the child gets to be the "star student" and their classmates get to learn more about them. On Monday, they have to bring in a poster about who they are, things they like, and anything else they want the class to know. After much deliberation, Reagan and I chose to put a lot of pictures on her poster....These are a few that we used! She had a great time helping me with the poster and took it to school on Monday. We will also be journaling our time with Marvin for the week, so watch for more pictures!

Hudson's Birthday Party!!

Hudson had his birthday party this past weekend at Chuck E Cheese's! He has been asking to go and eat/play there for some time, but we haven't made the plunge until this last weekend. Most of his classmates came to the party, and all of them had fun! Twelve little friends and lots of sugar and pizza later, he was extremely tired! He loved every minute, and is already asking when we can go back! Happy Birthday Hudson!

Hudson's Birthday Evening!

After everyone got home for the day, we took Hudson out to eat, followed by opening his present and cake. He loves his remote control Monster truck....he still runs it into plenty of walls, cabinets, etc but has gotten better! He was on a sugar high after the cake!

On Friday, Hudson's birthday, we were able to bring cupcakes for his class during snack time. Needless to say, the teacher had to use soap, water and wipes to clean everyone up! Hudson was stained blue for the rest of the day!

Hudson turned 4 on January 11th! It is so hard to believe that it has been four years! We have truly been blessed! He is such a fun, determined, sweet, and loving kid! It is just so hard to believe how much he has grown during the last four years....
