Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve was a lot of fun! We started the day by having John's brother, Paul, and his family, come over to our house where we exchanged gifts. Paul, his wife, Lydia, and their four girls, Kourtney, Rylea, Racheal and Reese all came to the house. Reagan and Hudson love to play with their cousins! We had a great time opening presents, and then headed out to my parent's house for some great ribs and a fun game of football! Rylea and Racheal were the winners. Next year, a trophy may be needed! It was so much fun to spend the day with family!

Christmas Cookies!

We have a yearly tradition of making Christmas cut-out cookies so that Santa will have some cookies to eat on Christmas Eve! The kids have gotten much better at making them. I have to say that this year the cookies tasted great and looked wonderful! Of course, I don't know how much the kids ate while making the cookies!

Party, Party, Party!

This week was the week of Christmas Parties! Hudson had his party on Wednesday, followed by me reading to Reagan's class. Then, on Thursday, Reagan had her school party. She is now officially on Holiday Break! Hopefully, things will begin to wind down a little! Both had all sorts of things to eat, and plenty of small presents to play with. Hudson loves his teacher, Ms. Angela, and Reagan loves her teacher, Ms. Baker. They both do a wonderful job with our children, and we are so blessed to have them teaching our kids!

Visiting Friends!

The following day after the Polar Express, we headed to see some of our favorite people! Ms. Patsy, Ms. Avis and Ms. Connie! We had a great visit and should do a better job visiting more frequently!

Polar Express!

A few weekends ago, we were able to go and enjoy a real train ride on the Polar Express! The kids loved it and were so excited. They had cookies and hot chocolate and enjoyed the ride to the North Pole. Santa made a visit on the train, and then the kids danced and played on the way back to the depot!

Hudson's Christmas Program!

Hudson had his Christmas program at school a few weeks ago. He was very excited to "sing really loud" and participate with the other kids his age. The school does an amazing job with the kids. They sang several songs, and then at the end, sang "Silent Night" while also signing it. It was amazing! It is pretty impressive to have 3 year olds sign during an entire song! Of course, cookies and snacks were provided at the end, which both kids loved. In waiting for the program to begin, Reagan had fun "cheesing it up" for the camera!

Christmas Decorating!

I've been meaning to post these for a while....As the Christmas season began, we had a good time decorating the tree! The kids always put a lot of ornaments at the bottom of the tree, and we have now started getting ornaments that are not breakable! The kids love this time of year and are so excited about Christmas! We will just have to see if they help me put all the ornaments up after the first of the year!
