Pirate Cruise

Another activity we enjoyed while in PCB was the Pirate Cruise! We initially had planned on going earlier in the week, but after being on the ship, it began to rain. So, we changed our plans and went later in the week. The crew and captain of the ship are amazing. They have activities the entire time, including water gun fights, sword battles, face painting, and even found a treasure chest that was loaded with treasure! We were lucky to also see several dolphins around our boat and surrounding boats! It was awesome! I'm not sure who enjoyed it the most...the kids or the adults!

"Wicked Wheel" Restaurant

We got to enjoy a night out at the "Wicked Wheel" Restaurant in PCB. It is a really neat restaurant that the kids meals even come in cardboard trucks! The bar stools are motorcycles and the kids loved trying them out! The food was good and so was the company!

Gulf World!

One of the things that we love about Panama City Beach are the many family friendly activities to enjoy. We went early in the week to Gulf World and watched the Sea Lion show, the Dolphin Show, petted some sting rays, saw some turtles, sharks, flamingos and even snakes! Although Hudson wasn't so sure about his Sea Lion kiss, Reagan was loving it!!

Panama City Beach, Florida!

We headed out the first week of July on vacation to Panama City Beach, Florida. We went with some friends of ours and had a great time. We were able to rent a townhome directly on the beach and enjoy some waves and rays!! The kids absolutely love the beach, playing in the water, playing in the sand, or just soaking up the sun! We can't wait for our next beach vacation!!

Pigskin Classic - Firefighters vs. Police Officers

John played in the Second Annual Pigskin Classic this year....This pairs Firefighters with Police Officers in a football game at Cowboys Stadium. John had a great time playing, and the kids and I, along with many family and friends came to watch! It was a lot of fun, and the best thing was that John came out of the game with a smile on his face! It was a really good game, with the Firefighters winning in the last bit of the fourth quarter. Go Red!!

Daddy's New Fire Helmet!

Daddy got a new fire helmet and brought it home for us to see. Since he is promoting this week, he may be at different stations, so he will need his gear with him. Reagan and Hudson enjoyed trying it on! Poor Hudson had to hold it so it wouldn't fall off! Congratulations Daddy for promoting! We love you!

Six Flags!

Reagan is participating in a "Summer Explorers" program at her school this summer. This means that she is with the older children who are in "big" school, and gets to do several things throughout the summer. Most of the time, they do things at the school, including art, swimming, and science projects, but they do have several field trips as well. Her first field trip was last week to Six Flags, and I was able to go! She was super excited and we had a blast! She was not scared to ride any of the rides, and wanted to keep riding! Several of her group did not want to ride many rides, but not Reagan! She had her first trip on a school bus and loved every minute of it! She can't wait for the next fun trip!

Picnic, Fishing and Fun....

Last weekend, we also took some time out and went to our local park. Harry Myers park is a great place for family fun! We took fishing poles and worms, and were able to catch a fish! The kids thought it was great, but were not very patient sitting and waiting on the fish to bite! I had packed a lunch for all of us, so we then had a wonderful picnic under one of the great shade trees! The morning ended with the kids enjoying the Spray Park and cooling off! It was a wonderful day, and we all were able to go home and nap for a while! It is nice to have places so near that are so much fun to enjoy!!
