Midway Games and Rides

We saved the games and rides for last this year. Hudson is now tall enough to ride the majority of rides, but next year should be able to ride basically anything! A few times, John and Hudson rode something while Reagan and I rode something else. By this time during the day, the kids were extremely tired, but they enjoyed it until the end! We had such a great time and can't wait to return next year!

On the Farm!

We also always enjoy the farm at the fair! It is always fun for the kids to pick peaches, gather eggs, milk the cows and plant some seeds. Don't forget getting on the tractor and taking the feed out to the cows!

Petting Zoo!

WE LOVE THE PETTING ZOO!!! Hudson was a bit shy at first, but warmed up quickly. I think Reagan liked the camel the best! We had a great time feeding the animals and can't wait till next year!!

Fried Food, Anyone?

A big part of the State Fair is all of the fried food! We had to dabble a little, but didn't get too crazy! It is always a necessity to get corn dogs, nachos and cotton candy. I must say that we did not try the fried bubble gum or the fried butter, but we did try fried pumpkin pie and fried cheesecake, which were both very yummy!

State Fair of Texas!!

We love the State Fair of Texas. The kids and the adults always have a great time! We went this past week and enjoyed great weather. We invited Nan and Da to go along, and we all had a blast! As you can tell, we were all excited on the way!

School Pictures

School pictures were taken a few weeks ago, and we just got the pictures back. Unfortunately, they did not take an individual picture of Hudson, but did get one of Reagan. The picture together is super cute and shows their personalities well!

Hudson - Just Chillin'

While Reagan was taking pictures, Hudson was simply "Chillin'." As long as he has a comfortable place to sit, and his "nite-nite," he is usually content! Of course, it never hurts to have a movie playing in the air-conditioned car!!

Cheer Pictures!

We had Cheer pictures last weekend, and as you can imagine, it was an ordeal! Getting 24 little girls in their cheer uniforms, bows in hair and looking pretty is a feat itself, but getting them all to pay attention for the team photo was even more interesting! Needless to say, it took more time than we thought it would take. We will get to see the final results in the next few weeks. I was able to get a few of Reagan though.....I can't believe she is getting so big, so fast!!
