Reagan loves Flowers!

With the new camera, Reagan decided to pick a flower and ask me to take some pictures. I love these pictures because she looks so happy, and so much like herself! She truly has a love of life and can always find something to smile about!

Together....

We got a new camera this week, so of course, I had to take some pictures! The kids are getting better at taking pictures together and not complaining about it! Hudson would still rather be running around instead of sitting still for pictures, but he is at least tolerating it! Reagan is a typical girl and will stop and smile for any camera!

End of Soccer Season

Reagan had her last soccer game on Saturday. We weren't sure that she would be able to play since we had gotten some storms the night before, but it went on as scheduled. Despite the mud, the girls did a great job and scored several goals. Reagan didn't get a goal this week, but was close a few times. She did a great job and had a great season! She is already asking about playing again next year.....

Hudson's Boots!

Hudson wanted to dress up a little for Reagan's recital too. He found some jeans in his closet and his boots! He had to show them off a little before the dancing began!

Reagan's Dance Recital

Reagan did have a busy day on Saturday. After her first soccer goal, we went home, had some lunch and then got ready for the recital. She loves getting dressed up and thoroughly enjoyed getting into her costume, curling her hair, and putting just a tiny bit of make-up on for the recital. Plenty of pictures later, the dancing began! I was impressed at how well all the girls did. They performed a ballet as well as tap dance and had a lot of fun! She even came home with a trophy and some flowers!

First Soccer Goal!!

We had a very busy Saturday last weekend, that included a soccer game followed by Reagan's dance recital. As a very proud Mommy, I can say that Reagan did an awesome job and scored her first official soccer goal! She worked hard for the goal and beat out the opposing team. She then ended up in the goal herself (I'm not sure if she tripped or was pushed) but came up smiling! Unfortunately, we don't have a video of the goal, but needless to say, she was extremely excited! She even had Daddy take her for ice cream that afternoon! Hudson also enjoys the games, especially if he has snacks!

Reagan's Swim

Reagan had her annual "swim show off" this past week. She did a wonderful job and I am amazed at how well she can swim! She has just really done a great job with swimming, and we are blessed that she has been able to do it in school!

Fishin' in the great green backyard sea....

After visiting Nan on Mother's Day, the kid's found some new fishing reels that Da had bought for them. Reagan's, of course, is princess, and Hudson's is Mickey Mouse. The reels even light up when casting them. Well, we had planned on actually taking them fishing on Sunday afternoon, but time got away from us, so we decided to play with them in the back yard. There were small plastic fish that came with the reels, so John got the reels ready to go. Both had a good time, but Reagan absolutely loved it. She has gotten extremely good at casting the reel (does a better job than I can do) and wants to play with them every night! Now, we just have to get a real fish on the end of it!

Happy Mother's Day!

I absolutely love being a mother and can no longer remember the times when I was not! It is the greatest blessing in the world! It is also a challenge, and I have a wonderful mother that I use as a role model, seek answers from, and laugh and cry with! Thanks so much Mom for all that you do for me! Mother's Day was a great, restful day! I was blessed with a new necklace and jewelry box and Reagan brought home some gifts that she made at school. I love the questionnaire that she filled out on me....my age is actually incorrect, but younger is always better! I'm never quite sure where she comes up with some of the answers, but they always put a smile on my face!

Motorcycle Mania!

The kids pulled out Hudson's motorcycle the other day. What started as taking turns on the motorcycle turned into both kids "sharing" it together. We are blessed that the kids play together so well....at least most of the time!
