Fancy Hudson!

As I am sure that you have seen in the past, Reagan really enjoys reading "Fancy Nancy" books. She loves being fancy and dressing up! Hudson got to be fancy last week when Reagan decided she would dress him up "fancy." This was the result. To top it off, they had ice cream sundaes!

Hudson's Party!

Hudson had his 2nd birthday party at the house on Saturday. We had some great family and friends that came to help him celebrate! He got to enjoy another birthday cake, ice cream and multiple presents! He really liked the Hot Wheels Trike and his new Power Wheels motorcycle! The only problem is that Reagan likes them too! As you can imagine, the word "share" is a common word at our house!

Happy Birthday Hudson Reid!!

Today was Hudson's 2nd birthday. It is hard to believe that it has already been two years since he was born. He has grown into a very active, sweet and smart toddler. He tries to keep up with his sister, plays hard, but is a very sweet boy too! I get teary eyed thinking about him growing so fast! We had a small family gathering at the house tonight to celebrate and, of course the birthday cake was a hit! He also really liked his cowboy boots...we will see if we wear anything else! We will have another party for him this weekend, but he got some great practice opening presents tonight. By the end of the night, he was exhausted and fell asleep sitting in John's lap. Let's just hope he sleeps all night!

First Snow 2011

We had our first snow of the year over the weekend and I am glad that we were at home to enjoy it! The kids watched out the windows and doors all day long and were so excited once there was some accumulation. We got everyone bundled up with hats, mittens, coats and rubber boots and went outside! We were actually able to go out a few times on Sunday. I think Reagan just likes eating the snow more than anything else, and Hudson learned how to make a snow ball and throw it! The snow angels were also an interesting site! Reagan is a pro at making snow angels, and Hudson sure did try! They had a great time and now all we have to do is wait for the next snow!

Daddy's Fire Station

Last Saturday the kids and I made a trip to Irving to Daddy's fire station. This was the first time Hudson has really been old enough to enjoy it, and I must say...He loved it!! He didn't want to go into the station at all. I think he would have stayed out in the bay with the truck, engine, and ambulance all day! When we did go inside, he kept pointing out saying "drive truck...drive truck..." We also got to have other special visitors there...Capt. Erwin and Mrs. Rita. The kids absolutely love all the hugs and special time they get to spend with them! We just need to make it a point to see them more frequently. If Hudson has anything to do with it, I am sure he will want to go back to Irving in the near future!
