Other Puppy Pictures!
Our new babies are doing great! They love to sleep, play, eat, sleep, play and eat....and of course, have to be taken out multiple times during the day! They aren't big fans of the cold weather, but still have done a great job! Reagan and Hudson have been great with the puppies, and are really helping to take care of them! They are growing super fast, and we are loving every minute!

Merry Christmas!!
With our early present from Santa on Christmas Eve, we were busy all day and ready for Santa to make another return the following day! We had a quiet Christmas at home and had some family over during the day. The kids had a great time, and came away with lots of great stuff! We love Christmas and love enjoying it with one another!

Our Special Christmas Presents!
On Christmas Eve, Santa brought a very special present to the kids! He told them via email, that he was unable to bring this present with him on the sleigh, and that Daddy had to come and meet up with him for the present......This was the first thing on Hudson's list...a real dog! Well, actually, we got two real puppies! We have two new additions that are miniature daschuunds! We have siblings, one girl and one boy. Reagan immediately took the girl, and Hudson got the boy! The girl is the runt of the litter and weighed in at 1.54 pounds and Reagan named her Snickers! Hudson named the little boy that weighed in at 2 pounds, Captain! We have some serious puppy love at our house!!

Our Elf on the Shelf!!
Our "Elf on the Shelf" has gotten herself in some major mischief this year! This is our second or third year to have our elf, Kate. (The kids named her...not sure where that came from!) This year, she has become very unpredictable.....We have seen her taken hostage by Hudson's Army men, she has used binoculars, had a tea party with some friends, written a letter to Santa, had a Spa day, and has even gone fishing......It has been an exciting and fun time to see what Kate's next move will be!

Christmas Cookies!
Every year, we make Christmas cut out cookies. I think that some of the cookie cutters are the same as the ones that I used as a child! The kids love it, and we prepare to have cookies for Santa! Each year, I think that the mess becomes a little larger, but we have fun all the same! Cookie production is done for the year....I hope Santa enjoys some of the cookies that we made!

Santa Letters!
We got our Santa letters off in the mail this past week! One of the neighbors has a special Santa Mail box that we use every year! It is perfect! Unfortunately, the kids had placed the letters in their envelopes before I was able to get a picture....Reagan is asking for a Baby Alive and American Girl puppies. Hudson had several things on his list....a real dog, train set, cooking set, Lego set and scooter....Whew.....We will see what these kids get from Santa!

Happy Thanksgiving!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends! We had several people at our house to celebrate Thanksgiving and are now preparing for Christmas! Hudson brought home this great turkey the day he got out for Thanksgiving break.....I wonder if he knows what glue tastes like.....

Happy Halloween!
We had a great Halloween with both kids eating way too much candy and staying up way too late! Reagan was Pinkie Pie from the My Little Pony series and Hudson was Luke Skywalker with his light saber! We met up with some friends and did some trick-or-treating in the neighborhood! Everyone had a wonderful time!

Second Grade Swim!
One of the great things about our school district is that we are blessed to have several facilities to use! We have a very large aquatic center that the high schools utilize for competitive swim. However, part of the second grade curriculum is going to the aquatic center as well. This past week was Reagan's turn! It is pretty amazing to watch these kids learning to swim from some of the district's swim coaches! Reagan had a blast, but was definitely more tired by the time she got home this week!

Pumpkin Carving!!
Tuesday night was the night for our annual Pumpkin Carving! This year we decided to do traditional Jack-o-Lanterns instead of stencils. The kids were able to help much more this year, and really enjoyed getting the insides out of the pumpkins!
