Happy Birthday Reagan!

It is hard to believe that Reagan is 7 years old. She came into our life and has been such a blessing! Weighing in at only 5 pounds initially, we have seen her grow into a beautiful, independent girl! We love you!

After Party and Ear Piercing!

Reagan has been wanting to get her ears pierced for the last year, and we felt like she was ready to have that responsibility, so after her party, we went to Sweet and Sassy to get her ears pierced. We had two of her friends with her, Jocelyn and Berit, and we all had fun watching her! Even Hudson enjoyed it! She did great, and finished the piercing with a smile! The girls then had to get Hudson a crown to put on too!

Cake and Presents!

After Build-a-Bear, we headed over to another area of the mall and had lunch, cake, and presents! Reagan loved her presents, and absolutely enjoyed the cake!

Reagan's Build-a-Bear Party!

Reagan's birthday isn't actually until the end of the month, but with the craziness of school and fall sports, we decided to have her party this past weekend! She wanted a "Build-a-Bear" party, and didn't stop talking about it! So, we let her invite several of her friends and had a party! The kids loved being able to choose a bear/animal, have it stuffed, bathe it, and pick out clothes and accessories! Reagan chose a white cat that she named Snowflake, and Hudson chose a German Shepard he named Jake. Other names that were chosen by the other girls included Peace, Kate, Fudgy, Fluff, and Rockstar! Everyone went home with their own specially designed animal!

School is in Session!!

School started back today! Reagan and Hudson were both very excited to head back to school. We were blessed to have them at home this summer, but I think everyone is ready to get back into routine! Reagan is starting 1st grade this year at our neighborhood school! It is so neat to be able to walk to school from our house, and see all the other school aged kids doing the same thing! We found out last week that she will have Mrs. Cox as a teacher! She is super excited, especially since one of her buddies had Mrs. Cox last year! Hudson starts Pre-K this year, and I can't believe it! It seems like just yesterday he was going to the sitter because he wasn't old enough to be in school. Next year, he will be able to go to the neighborhood elementary as well! He told me this morning that, "Reagan shouldn't be worried about anything since she is so close to home!" He did really well going to the classroom this morning, and didn't think twice about us leaving! I am sure we will have two tired kiddos this evening!

Uncle Warren and Emily!!

Uncle Warren and Emily arrived for a wonderful visit this last weekend! It was a quick visit since Emily starts back to school later this week in North Carolina. The cousins have not seen each other in several years, but had a blast playing with one another. Emily is 2 years older than Reagan, but they played together like great friends! Hudson kept up with them as well! They all had to spend the night together for the two nights that she was here, and I think they got some sleep! We have missed them terribly, and are so glad that they came to visit. Hopefully, it won't be long before the next visit!

Random Summer Pics!

The summer is going by super quick and the kids have been at home having fun. We were blessed to have a sitter this summer that takes great care of them, while John and I are at work. She takes them to the library, pool, playground, and is even taking them to Chuck E Cheese today! We have all been staying up too late, and sleeping in when possible. School will start in about three weeks and the routine will have to start again! The new elementary in our subdivision is now finished, and we are only about five houses down from the school! Reagan is super excited that she gets to walk to and from school! The school also has a great playground that is super convenient and a lot of fun to play on! Reagan will be going into 1st grade, and Hudson will be starting Pre-K.....Where has the time gone? Hudson only has one more year, and then he will get to go to "big school" too!
