Reagan's Graduation!

Reagan had her graduation ceremony last Friday night. She will officially start public school next August! She participated in a Daycare Kinder program this year, that primarily consisted of kids that had summer birthdays or early fall birthdays. This will hopefully prepare her well for regular Kindergarten this fall! She had a blast and made some good friends. We were blessed to have this "transitional" Kinder to participate in, and she is so excited to start "real" school this fall! John and I can't believe that she will start public school! The years have gone by way too quickly!!

Last Soccer Game of the Season!

Reagan had her last soccer game of the season this last Saturday! The Lady Cheetahs did a great job during the year. It was so much fun to watch them all grow and learn the game of soccer. Reagan did score another goal at the last game (this made either 4 or 5 for the season). At the end of the game, the coaches handed out medals to all of the players! Then, she got to get ice cream and chose to eat at Chik-fil-A. This, of course, made Hudson happy too! Hopefully, we will be able to play again in the fall on the same team!

Super New Waterslide!

As I had mentioned in an earlier post, I think the kids have outgrown their pool from last year, so we decided to find something that they can hopefully enjoy for several summers to come! We bought an awesome water slide that they absolutely love! The first time we got it out, it was still a little chilly outside, and although there were a few chattering teeth, both the kids still enjoyed it! The only problem is that now they want us to set it up all the time! They never seem to get tired of sliding different ways (head first, bouncing along, feet first, on their belly), so hopefully we can use this for a long time!!!

Captain Erwin and Mrs. Rita come visit!

Some of our favorite people came to visit last weekend before Mother's Day. Captain Erwin and Mrs. Rita came to Rockwall for a quick visit. They had planned on watching Reagan play soccer, however, the games were rained out. They decided to still come out for a visit. We very much enjoyed their visit and went out to eat some wonderful Mexican food! We don't get to see them as much as we would like, but always enjoy their company! Hopefully, we can get together again soon!

Nan's Sleepover!

A few weeks back, the kids convinced Nan to sleep over at our house. They thought it would be so neat for her to stay with them, but at our house. So, we made a fun evening of it! We pulled their mattresses into the media room, had popcorn, watched movies of their choosing (several times), and ended the evening with banana splits! I can't say that we all slept great, but it was worth it! The kids had a blast and have already asked when we can do it again!

Happy Mother's Day!!

Mother's Day was a wonderful day at the Hope house. I got showered with kisses and gifts and was able to spend it with the best people ever....my family! I never realized what it truly meant to me a "Mommy" until I was one. It is the most joyful, wonderful, hard and frustrating thing in the world! I thank God for the wonderful Mother that I have, that I have learned so much from, and continue to learn from on a daily basis. I also thank Him for the wonderful children and husband that was given to me. I am truly blessed!! We had a wonderful morning and met Nan and Da for lunch. We ended the day at the park, doing what I love to do....watching my children run and play, and spending time with my husband! Thanks for the wonderful day!

Happy Birthday Da!!!

Last Thursday was Da's birthday! We had a great time celebrating with him. The kids got a chance to put some candles on the cake (we didn't quite have enough, but no one was counting!) and helped him blow out the candles too! Thanks Da for being such an important and helpful part of our lives! We are blessed to have you in our lives, and thankful for it!! Happy Birthday!

Hudson's Spring School Pictures

Hudson had pictures taken at school a few weeks ago. We just got them back this past week. He is growing so big so fast! It is hard to believe that he is already 3 years old! He loves trying to keep up with his sister and anyone older than him! He loves Reagan dearly, but also loves to torment her! He no longer puts up with her making the decisions and lets her know when he is not happy! He is such a blessing in our life, and we are so blessed that God gave him to us!!
