Reagan's First Soccer Game 2012!

Reagan had her first Soccer game of the season on Saturday! The girls played great, and I know they are only going to get better! Reagan nearly scored a goal, but missed by just a little. Maybe it will happen next week! Go Lady Cheetahs!

Dallas World Aquarium

We got to make a trip to the Dallas World Aquarium on a rainy day recently. I think everyone else had the same idea, as it was quite crowded! The kids loved it though! They enjoyed seeing the Crocodile, all the birds, monkeys, fish and sharks! There was even a leopard that they got to see close up! It was a great day and we enjoyed the time together!

Spring Soccer is Here!!!

This past week, Reagan started her spring soccer season! I'm honestly not sure who was more excited....Reagan or John and I! We are ready to watch her participate in games and have fun! It is so much fun to watch her play and grow. She hasn't played since last year and is on a new team this year. The girls got to choose the team name and decided on Lady Cheetahs! I hope they are as fast as their team sounds! This year, at least during practice, Reagan doesn't seem to be as intimated and is much more aggressive. They did several drills during practice and then played 3 on 4 at the end of practice. Reagan nearly scored twice! She has a few more practices and then the games begin! Go Lady Cheetahs!!!

John was able to go with my uncle and cousin to the Texas Sports Hall of Fame Induction reception and banquet this past week. This has been a yearly tradition for the last several years, and John has gotten to meet several interesting sports athletes. This year included Ray Childress, Walt Garrison, Drew Pearson, Darrell Royal, Mack Brown, Fred Couples, and RC Slocum to name a few.....John looks forward to this every year and gets some great autographs!

Soccer in the backyard!

We are about to start Soccer season with Reagan, and Hudson has been participating in an indoor soccer program for the last several weeks. John decided to make a soccer field in the backyard for the kids to play with. Using some sidewalk chalk, a goal was established, and then the kids were off playing. Reagan had the assistance of one of her stuffed animals, but Hudson still scored! We are excited about the kids starting to participate in more activities. It is so much fun to watch them grow and mature!

After having plenty to eat, we all got to enjoy some time with Barry and Sheilena. Of course, Hudson had to show Uncle Barry all of his swords. Several sword fights ensued, and Hudson came out the victor! Some good snuggle time and and many hugs were also given during the evening! Thanks for visiting and we hope to see you guys again soon!

Uncle Barry and Aunt Sheilena made their way from England for a visit. We were one of their stops, and enjoyed having them! The kids absolutely loved having them, and were so excited that they were coming. They got to stay home from school, and enjoy some time with them at the playground. Swings, running, and monkey bars were only a few things they had fun doing. We also went and had some Mexican food since they can't get that in England!
